The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, July 19th at 1pm CDT. Martha Shulski (Nebraska State Climatologist) will be presenting the latest drought/flood & climate summary, impacts and outlooks. In this month’s presentation our attention will begin to turn to the late summer and yes some early fall issues. We will also address continuing drought concerns in Missouri, SE Iowa, Kansas, the Dakotas and Colorado, relatively warm June temperatures and potential impacts to agriculture, water resources and ecosystems. Martha will also update us on the latest El Nino Watch.
The focus area for the Webinar is the north-central region of the U.S. (from the Rockies to the Great Lakes). At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
