Farmer-to-Farmer Conservation Field Day

February 12, 2020 - February 13, 2020

This event is for farmers seeking practical insights on how to make conservation work while keeping their farms profitable – whether you are just curious about conservation or you’ve already gotten started. You will learn from fellow farmers who are already achieving success with conservation practices, such as cover crops and minimal tillage.

Through a full day of farm visits (Feb 12) and a half day of focused conversation (Feb 13), you will return home empowered with the following:

– Knowledge from fellow farmers about how they make conservation work on their farm – from the finances to the logistics.

– Connections with like-minded farmers from across the Mississippi Basin who care about land stewardship.

– A strengthened sense that you belong to the rising tide of farmers who are contributing to farmer-led solutions that will keep farms profitable while supporting communities and protecting natural resources across America’s Heartland.

The event will take place in Memphis, TN and at farms in the vicinity, in Arkansas and Mississippi.

Registration is free but required. Please visit the event webpage for full details and registration.
