January 19, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The monthly North Central U.S. Climate Summary and Outlook Webinar will take place on Thursday, January 19th at 1pm CDT. Kelsey Jencso, the Montana State Climatologist, will be presenting the latest climate information and outlooks for the region. Kelsey will be summarizing recent climate trends, events and variability as well as discussing their impacts. He will also present the latest (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center outlooks from two weeks to a few seasons into the future. He will also provide the latest update on the La Nina conditions and perhaps what that could mean for the rest of this winter in spring. The focus of these presentations is the north central portion of the U.S. that generally stretches from the Great Lakes/Ohio river basin to the Rockies. At the end of the presentation we will be taking questions.
