National Climate Assessment: Midwest Regional Overview

NOAA , the Nebraska and Illinois state climate offices and Great Lakes Integrated Sciences and Assessments are very pleased to offer three webinars describing the findings from the 4th National Climate Assessment which was recently released.  Each presentation will provide an overview of the specific regional chapter key messages and science behind the report.  The fourth “National Climate Assessment, Volume II: Impacts, Risks, and Adaptation in the United States”, assesses the science of climate change and variability and its impacts across the United States, now and throughout this century.

The second webinar, focused on the Midwest, will be given by Dr Jim Angel (Illinois State Climatologist emeritus and chapter lead author) on March 11th @ 1pm.
