Michigan Inland Lakes Convention: Partnering to Protect Michigan’s Inland Lakes

The major lake and shoreline organizations throughout Michigan along with the Michigan Departments of Environmental Quality and Natural Resources are hosting this convention and will present three day of plenary and concurrent sessions, 1/2 day and full day workshops, tours, exhibits, and banquets. Bill Rustem, Director of Strategy for Governor Rick Snyder, will join the convention for a plenary address on Friday morning, May 2 to discuss “Successful Partnerships – Importance to Government.”  The convention presents an opportunity for professionals, researchers, students, local and state governments, lake practitioners, consultants, and riparians to learn more about current and emerging issues in inland lakes.
