Illinois Water 2014
October 14, 2014 - October 15, 2014
Located at the crossroads of the Mississippi River and Lake Michigan and home to distinctive water systems like the Illinois River, the Mahomet Aquifer, and the largest water treatment plant in the world, Illinois’s water resources present both a welcome asset and unique challenge to the science, development, and conservation of the state. Join planners, scientists, engineers, artists, communicators, and policy makers from government, academia, NGOs, and private industry as we discuss and present our work at Illinois Water 2014. This biennial conference series hosted by the Illinois Water Resources Center will take place October 14-15 at the Illini Union on the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus.
