Highlights from the Fourth National Climate Assessment

This month’s webinar from the North Central Climate Collaborative will feature Martha Shulski, Director, Nebraska State Climate Office, as she discusses the recently released National Climate Assessment. Martha was one of the Contributing Authors on the Northern Great Plains chapter of the Fourth National Climate Assessment, which was recently released on November 23rd. Martha serves as the State Climatologist for Nebraska and is an Associate Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. The Nebraska State Climate Office operates the Nebraska Mesonet – a state weather monitoring program with 69 stations across the state. Martha’s work is in the areas of applied climatology, weather and climate monitoring, impact assessment and stakeholder engagement.
