2019 Prairie Lakes Conference
August 8, 2019 - August 10, 2019
Everything in the world is connected, and a vibrant example of that is where prairie and lakes meet. A mutual admiration society, these two ecosystems affect each other and depend on each other in the Iowa Great Lakes area. That is why conservation professionals from throughout the region have banded together to create the Prairie Lakes Conference.
The Conference will start on August 8th with a Field Day at the Wallace and Bowers Nature Area farm North of Spirit Lake, IA. The field day will focus on Soil Health, Prairie Strips, and Soil Health among other conservation methods. To learn more about the field day click here.
