Call for Poster Submissions

North Central Region Water Network 2016 From Science to Success Conference

The 2016 North Central Region Water Network Conference, From Science to Success: Bridging the Gap Between Knowledge and Practice in Water Resource Management, will bring together extension educators, university researchers, and our partners to strengthen water research and outreach in the North Central Region.

The conference will focus specifically on how we can collectively move from awareness of applicable science and local knowledge to sustainable use and conservation of water resources.

If your application is accepted, you may display your poster at the conference, March 21-22 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We are calling for posters in the following categories:

  • Nutrient and manure management
  • Sustainable water supply
  • Watershed management
  • Climate change & adaptation
  • Soil health
  • Land use and development practices
  • Youth water literacy and stewardship
  • Aquatic invasive species prevention and management

Abstracts are due: February 24. Up to 24 posters will be accepted. Poster boards are designed to display posters with dimensions of 48’’ x 36’’.  We also have up to five display tables available for table-top displays.  Please indicate “poster” or “display” in your abstract.

Posters need to be in place from March 21 at 1 p.m. to March 22 at 1 p.m.  We ask that you be present at your poster/display during the Poster Session Reception on Mon., March 21at 5:30 p.m.
